The Lion Park is located in South Africa in the Gauteng region near Lanseria airfield and Randburg within inside Johannesburg and 40 km from Pretoria.
The Lion Park offers terrific close up views of lions, white lions, cheetahs and hyenas offering stunning photograph opportunities to the amateur photographer that does not have the photographic equipment to get close to these predators in normal situations.
The Lion Park is home to in excess of 80 lions including the rare white lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, brown and spotted hyenas and black backed jackal as well as a wide diversity of antelope which wander without restraint in the fields of the lion park.
Visitors to the Lion Park can also mingle with small lion cubs as well as feeding the giraffes.
The Lion Park in South Africa, Johannesburg is well worth a visit!
