Crocodile Swimming |
In the photograph above you will see an image of a crocodile swimming. During my visit at the crocodile farm I discovered how emotionless a crocodile can be. When one looks into the crocodiles eyes it is completely motionless and one cannot even see the eyes blinking. It is as if the crocodile can stare into your eyes forever. The crocodile also have the ability to disguise itself as a tree, and the way that it lies in the water with just his nose sticking out is amazing. I think in nature one can easily mistaken a crocodile for a tree in the water. Sometimes during our tour I had to look twice to see the crocodiles in the water, they looked so similar to trees. In the picture above I caught this crocodile with its mouth open, swimming slowly through the water. In the picture above you can see the big teeth of the crocodile, and one cannot help to imagen how much damage those teeth can do to a human beeing should one be attached and molded by a crocodile. It is interesting to know that a crocodile will bite onto its pray, and actually kill it by drowning it. If one are attached by a crocodile the crocodile will bite onto your flesh with a very strong grip once the crocodile have a firm grip on its pray it would start spinning arrount in the water drowning its pray. I once read that it is impossible for a human beeing to hold open a crocodiles mouth when it is attaching, but it is very much possible to keep a crocodiles mouth closed if you can get hold of its mouth while it is closed. I recommend the river bend crocodile farm to any one who goes to Margate, Ramsgate, South Broom or any where in driving disctance from the crocodile farm. I truelly enjoyed the photos and experience gained from visiting the crocodile farm. |
